The Howard County Office on Aging, a division of the Howard County Department of Citizen Services, is the principal agency that plans, advocates, develops, and coordinates programs and services for seniors and their family members. Office on Aging programs and activities are open to all people regardless of race, creed, or national origin.

- APA Stroke Study Featured on Columbia Matters
Columbia Matters, the cable tv show of the Columbia Association, features a segment on the Adaptive Physical Activity (APA) Research Study for stroke survivors in Howard County (see the January Senior Connection, below).
