The Howard County Office on Aging can direct you towards the housing option that is most appropriate for you or your loved one. The Office on Aging keeps a comprehensive listing of all nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and assisted living group homes in Howard County and its surrounding areas. Information includes addresses, contact numbers, approximate costs, and subsidy eligibility. For more information contact Maryland Access Point at 410-313-5980, or email map@howardcountymd.gov.

The Office on Aging is responsible for monitoring all assisted living group homes in the county to ensure their compliance with State regulations. The Senior Assisted Housing Program provides education, training and support to current and prospective assisted living providers, as well as provides information and support to seniors and families of seniors who are interested in or currently residing in one of Howard County's many assisted living group homes.
